I know it's probably been covered here before but I'm not turning much specific up.
I have a 28 hole rim which I'm wanting to build up onto a front hub. The 28 holes are not spread out equally around the rim, more like in pairs.
does this create any difference in tension/strength as opposed to a normally spaced rim? What are my options with lacing?
Ideally i'm after a high flange hub, I would like the dura-ace track hub but I think i've read that they are not built for radial lacing (and i'm not sure they even make a 28h hub)
What would be a good alternative?
If I can't find a decent 28h high-flange I think i'll go for a goldtec road hub..
I realise now that this comes over as more of an aimless rant than a structured question but i'm posting it anyway because it's friday and i've got an itchy credit-card finger.
