I still find Google Calendar to be the best solution. They've had a few hours downtime here and then every year or two, but I figure that to have that everywhere (mobile, laptop, desktop, accessible from someone else's machine...) it's worth it.
One thing I would advise, if it's for business go purchase the Google Hosted thing for Gmail and Gcalendar. At least if you part with a little cash you have a contract for services which enables you to get support when you need it. I've never their support, but I find it comforting to know that the standard response of "you get what you pay for" holds true and once you're paying you actually have access to some level of support.
