Dylan makes an interesting point here though.... Around the Baw Baw state forest they have been containing fires on a yearly basis since Ash Wendesday (the previous serious fires back in the 80's). As a result there is a huge fuel load as the natural fires have not burned it. A bit of a tinderbox.
