There's no way the road from Earls Court to Hammersmith is even remotely as bad as the OKR. I cycled both regularly and OKR is way worse, at least in my opinion.
Anyway, back on topic, the OKR is fine, I must have cycled it 500 times with out accident, loads of incidents though. Good, experienced cyclist will have no problem but the drivers are SHIT, and there are tonnes of buses.. unless something has changed over the last few months.
Okay,if you absolutely MUST avoid the OKR just belt up Peckham high street, up camberwell road, past kennington oval, over vauxhall bridge, up vauxhall bridge road, past victoria and up the hyde park. Then do whatever you like.
