Mini pumps

I struggled for 2 years with a Crank brothers mini pump. After snapping two new inners at the valve stem, miles from anywhere, I threw the thing in the bushes and pushed the bike home. I then bought a Masterblaster mini track pump. Okay so its twice the length but no broken tubes and it pumps comfortably to 120psi. Wish I had bought one 2 years ago.

Must admitt you need to be able to support the head well, and pump like a nutter at the same time. The removal takes a minute or two as well. I think the clamping mechanism pulls the valve in slightly, as opposed to out, like a lot of cheap lever activated clamps. Its why I like the pump, but could make it a bit valve hungry I'd imagine.
