Not a Pashley, unless you want her hate you and/or commuting. 10 miles each way is a decent stretch, get a proper tool for the job, a fast hybrid, alu with a carbon fork or something. If she's getting it on cyclescheme the resale is largely irrelevent as it's being bought for discount in the first place.
