1+ all of the above, a female pashley is fine for her and the resell value will still be strong either way.

Retrovelo.
very expensive (cheapest is 890 quid for female one) and you may have to buy it at a very racist bike shop (velorution).
but still be a lots better than a Pashley despite it's huge price, fuckin fun to ride too.
