Kitting myself out

Just ordering some bibs, dhb cheap but good ones, but am confused.

What else do I need to wear? Do these go on the outside? So:

1. Base Layer
   
2. Warmer Top
   
3. Bibs
   
4. Jacket

Nup. I reckon:

1. base layer (eg merino t-shirt)
   
2. Bibs
   
3. Warmer top
   
4. Jacket
   
   

but it depends what your base layer is. you might want to switch #1 and #2. bibs definitely NOT on the outside.
