  • I understand where it comes from--replacing heavily oppressive rectangular shapes with irregular, moving lines certainly has its point--but I think it's a bit of a counsel of despair.

    I agree, but I don't think his buildings designed with function and practicality in mind. I just think it would be nice to have a city like that somewhere in the world.
    I wouldn't want to live in that city though, just look at pictures of it and visit it occasionally. It'd drive people mad if they spent too much time there.

    I wouldn't really care too much about how a city was designed,as long as it all the ancient and old buildings were respectfully complemented and protected I'm happy enough.
