An attack of apathy will strike the "hipster fixed trick contingent" as a new fad is propogated to the world from a small niché in whatever the coolest city happens to be at the chosen time.
All fixed bikes used for tricks will be sold and the cool communities will move on to whatever it is that has been elected to superceed "the state of now".
Superted will not notice that anything has changed and will continue to do his own thing, regardless of others abandonment.
