Car appreciation... the aesthetics, the engineering, etc

Yeah, half french. My granddad had one (he passed away this morning unfortunately..:( ), one of my first memories is him driving me around Paris in it. They are deceptively roomy inside, fucking massive actually, and they so so comfortable. I don't know why I picked it aside other cars, I guess I just think it's rather beautiful, I especially love the French yellow-headlights.

Ive never driven one or been inside one, ascetically Ill be honest, it doesn't do anything for me, but then, I think this car is more about reliability, safety and road handling then dashing good looks.

I do remember reading that it had a placing in the "car of the century" competition which was based on influential designs of its time
