are there any non-campaging groups that offer insurance, with other benefits, like legal advice?

basicly i want something with all the frills of lcc or ctc membership, with out the campagining, which i'm not really into.

The LCC has a dedicated legal advice helpline run by Levene's. I'd have to look up what the others have.

i thought they only covered legal fees if you had to go to court, not the consultations on what you should do.

Most compensation lawyers operate on a 'no win, no fee' basis. AFAIK you're very unlikely to have to pay lawyers' fees, anyway, if you're not in the wrong in a collision, but someone with legal knowledge please correct me if that's wrong.

We consider the initial legal advice essential as a membership benefit, because it can be a massive hurdle to people to gather up the courage to pursue a case in the first place.
