JOB TITLE: Website/Intranet & Database Manager (Maternity leave replacement)
REPORTS TO: Global Marketing Director
DEPARTMENT: Marketing
OVERVIEW
We’re looking for a maternity leave replacement for our website/intranet and database manager,
starting 19 January 2009 (with a 1-2 week handover) – initially for 6 months, with possibility of
extension to 12 months.
A major part of the role will be day to day management of the redevelopment of our website (due to
relaunch July 2009), serving as the link between our website agency partner and internal
stakeholders/content providers from around our network, and ongoing maintenance/content
management threreafter. This person will also manage our intranet and our current website, sourcing
and utilising content management systems to post assets from around our network. Finally, this person
will help manage the integration of a UK contact database, with the possibility of helping **deliver **a global
contact database, pending budget approvals.
Key to this role will be helping our people change their behaviours, so that our website and intranet
become **primary communications channels from an external and internal marketing perspective, **and
our database is the repository of our contact details to drive marketing and business development
campaigns.
We need someone who has website project management and content management experience,
whose attention to detail is second to none, who is a **fantastic communicator and facilitator and who is
a natural knowledge sharer/gatherer. **Experience in working closely with senior management is also
mission critical.
