Police sound worse than fucking useless but I don't think you should then be forced to take the law into your own hands. They are public servants FFS! They should be accountable.
As has been already mentioned, there must be some way to highlight this piss poor service from the Po Po. The Evening Standard seem to be warming to cyclists given their HGV campaign, so maybe they might be interested? Roxy, where are you? We need your campaigning services...
