  • +1 to what Ma3k siad, more blood and graphic adverts was the only solution to reduce the index of car crash in Spain, the campaing was hugely criticise for the public opinion, but was effective

    There was a campaign running in W. Australia when I was out there that showed a speeding car going off the road, rolling, bursting into flame and throughout you could hear voices screaming from inside the car. Really, really, horrible.

    It was to emphasise that most accidents don't occur to out-of-towners (as apparently this was what most people thought), but to locals driving too fast on roads they thought they knew well.

    They also had a collection of wrecked cars piled up at one of the roundabouts to show the effects of drink driving.

    I think the shock factor makes them much more effective.
