Twenty years ago I was a london courier and in those days we had the streets pretty much to ourselves. Sometimes the new generation of cyclists with there helmets and cycle lanes and dayglo vests and respect for other road users really irk me. I yearn for the days when the couriers had the road pretty much to ourselves . You know what though? I kinda got over myself. There are people on here who have bikes that are approaching works of art. I was talking to AndyP last night he has three vintage Casati track bikes. You can talk to hippy and big daddy W and they will gen you up on riding distances and road racing Tynan has a solution to every conceivable technical problem ! I have learned shit loads on this forum and in the process realised that perhaps I didn't know as much as I previously thought . So I lost a little of my hubris. So some board members like to dress up in girls jeans ...big fucking deal
