distressed tshirt - check - it was humid and I had been riding with a bag.
avoidance of polished black lace-ups - duly noted.
"skip the carbs / wide loads" - at least one girl has already confirmed the low-slung gusset is making my ass look slovenly. From my point of view (it's not often you get to stare analytically at your own arse if you don't shop at M&S) it could be worse. Carbs remain unskipped.
