I have recently found that Brick Lane Bike, a shop in London, has been taking frames that have not been made by you, sending them to a frame builder to have them modified, and then painting them "Bianchi Green" putting Bianchi stickers on them, and selling them as a Bianchi. This could be a breach of your copy right, and you may wish to investigate it, and take action to stop it. Birck Lane Bikes website is http://bricklanebikes.co.uk/ This came to my attention via a thread on the London Fixed Gear forum the url for the relevant thread, (with pictures of the bike and a testimonial by an ex-mechanic at the shop) is http://www.londonfgss.com/thread7505.html#post212929
Cheers
me
so do i send it, next post decides
chris, bianchi green = celeste ;)
--and as in all second hand purchases ...Buyer Beware...
anyone who wants a decent bike that knows nothing should do one of 2 things, bring a mate who knows WTF they are doing or start reading
as for BLB rebadging for higher profit - not ideal, however loads of kids do it for their own esteem, ironically those they are looking to impress are ultimately bigger bike nerds who think its gay to do so.
