mallet design note:

both my new mallet and the old HH mallets are not round in section at the handle end, they are wedge / eliptical shaped....like an axe handle...so you don't have to look at your mallet to know that it's pointing in the right direction...

I put a bump in the bar wrap I use for grip on mine. Serves the same purpose.
