no it's massive overkill - you won't have a frame left. likely as not the entire thing will disintegrate in front of you leaving a cloud of smoke and a pile of ash :-P
If you think about how thin the tubes actually are, and how they're connected - they're about 0.5 - 1mm thick, and brazed together with lugs. No welding.
