Why the hell not.
There's £20 in it for the person with the angle grinder. The office manager just said that perhaps they should bribe you so that if we ever need a hand in future someone would be available.
I feel part responsible, I went on a crusade about making sure we didn't have any of those "No bicycles to be locked to railings" signs, and then we go and end up with a broken bike locked permanently and uglifying the building. Ooops.
