I'm trying to sort out the threadless headset on one of my bikes. It seems that the watchamacallit that grips the inside of the steerer has failed, so that the top cap allen key bolt just spins uselessly around and doesn't tighten anything. How do I get it out?
The headset is a big pile of steamy wank, and has never been any good. However, I don't want to spend much money - can I get a new replacement watchamacallit?
