i think what bmmf meant is that one of the perks of [i]registering[/] with the site is that there are no ads - oh, actually, that's pretty much what he said:
I'm registered with this site, and one of the perks is no advertising.
i also agree that there is every possibility for people to have threads, and for them to be made "sticky" but having it in your face is not so nice. particularly when one of them is actually advertising for a shop, not a magazine.
nb, seems you can only add to someone's reputation once before you then have to "spread it around" ;-)
