Yeah, i have the back brake mounted on the front currently as it has a shorter pin (ironically) and allowed for the recessed allen key driven cup thing to be fitted 'inside' the crown as Mister K has done. These are some old shitty Weinmann calipers tho which i took off this old piece of crap raleigh bike i had(and stacked). I'm having a real hard time getting any decent braking out of em so i thought if i'm in the market for some new brakes I'd check with these boards see if anyone knew of what i should be looking for to suit my frame.
Sheldon's explaination is (as always) very helpful.
Thanks for all the advice then, and dogsballs really appreciate the spares offer. I'll see what brakes i end up buying and might well take you up on that.
