Wanted: White chain

If I bought two chain in two different colours, could I use a chain tool to make a multicoloured chain. And would it have the same structural integrity?

If you're diligent, yes. But then it will all be the same grimy colour again in no time...

Really it should be no different to any new chain cleaning / installation process if done properly as you should be completely disassembling your chain before installation anyhow. I only really bother to do this for my road bike personally, but the results are spectacular. See here for full instructions.
