Looks like hosts and virtual instruments could be going the way of recorded music: Free and online.
I've been producing for the past 10 years and one thing that boggles my mind, is that the cost to produce music is getting easier and cheaper because of technology like this. It's no Pro tools/Logic, but it is fun and very nice to look at.
