I fucking hate it when people (especially coppers) talk about /greev-y-ous/ bodily harm:
Grievous - /greev-ous/
And the old chestnut of people talking about how someone was 'disinterested' when they mean 'uninterested' (disinterested means 'unbiased').
Not sure I've seen these examples on the forum, but I do feel better now.
