And give your thumbs a rest by using the ridge of knuckley bits along the top of your palm IYNWIM.
And keep pinching the bead to make sure it's seated all the way round.
And take any residual air out of the tube.
And don't be afraid to really grapple with the tyre - push that last section right up and over the other side of the rim to kind of ssstttrrreeetttccchhh that obstinate bit of bead into submission.
