A work friend of mine has just bought a really old Holdsworth road frame (it has already been resprayed metallic lilac by the previous owner - so there's no chance of this 'ruining a classic frame' rubbish, as it's already happened) - which he would like to build up as a singlespeed/fixed hack.
Not sure exactly how he's measured the dropouts but he said 'they are exactly 5in' which is 125mm. So, needing a nice pair of wheels with silver rims (preferably hi polish) and a flipflop hub (apparently not up for fixed yet but wants both options) to fit, maybe deepish section. Willing to pay £50-£75 but obviously cheaper is better. (No velocity deep v suggestions please though, he doesn't want to spend much money, and I tried to get him into the idea of colours and/or matte gold but he wasn't having much of that either).
Anyone got anything?
