Build
scott not scot
me man was that disorganised though!
I think the organization was great....there is absolutely no way that 50/60+ riders can be kept going in the right directions and arrive at the right checkpoints at the right times...different physical abilities...rain...traffic lights...punctures..etc...it just can't be done.
Various phonecalls back n forth between groups helped tremendously to pull it back together....and the fact that there were still 43 people left at the end shows how well it all worked.
Granted the treasure hunt went pear shaped...but that was down to the weather...not the organizing.
Bring on the summer version!
True. I think it was quite well organized (On ya Dale ;]). The weather was the problem. As Scott said, because of different riding styles you're always going to get separation. I took a detour right near the end on New Oxford st to grab some supplies. Called Emily, Mike & John. None of you bastards could hear your phones. By the time you called me back I was half way home.
Roll on Summer.
True again. The route was there... I think it was just the elements and a few unforeseeable events that put us a off track on occasion. Again a big thanks to all those who pulled this together for the love of it. (No disrespect with my previous comment intended)
