i have a track pump but find it difficult to carry on long rides. i have a pump similer to the blackburn one but it's too big for my jersey hence the co2.
I'm amazed at the figure of 6g for a liter of pop though, i'm happy to use co2 canisters for punctures for out of town road rides as i don't get many punctures (only had 1 in 10 months) and any co2 i use and the metal involved is minimal compared to somebody who drinks a can of fizzy drink every day.
