Yep, I getcha. To be frank, 3 and half years ago, it wasn't very cool any more already to me, but then I've been there a lot longer. Fact is, 'cool' isn't really any good if it just means 'crap but with nightlife'. Some of the things that have been there ages are still good, like the Old St Tea and Coffee Shop, or the Bricklayers, Jeffreye musuem or whatever. I think 'suits' is OK if they force the place to have better schools or a sense of community or whatever. The real thing that's gonna change things in the near future is I think the encroachment of the city north up from spitalfields, and the new stations at junction of BG road Shoredith High St, and the one up by the Jeffreye. What's up with that end of Hackney Road though? Still as tatty as ever.
