Where would we be without those oh-so-very-special people that can envisage and create, who produce something that is greater than the sum of its parts?
Take a look at some other threads on here tonight, there are stem engravers, hat makers, bag makers, artists. There are some amazing frames; things of real beauty that give me a tingle up my spine, dry throat, or make the hairs my arms stand up.
As a trained engineer and metalworker (now programmer and software engineer) I can appreciate sometimes the quality and precision of frames and components, but these guys who have an eye for totally bespoke design, crazy colour matching that works, and top class quality finish... they just leave me in jaw dropping awe.
