I assume you are talking about the width of the various bits? i.e 1/8 or 3/32 inch?
you can measure the WIDTH between the narrower chain side-plates (or whatever they are called).
If this is less than 1/8 then your drivetrain is all 3/32.
If it is 1/8th on the chain then you can measure your teeth and have a loook-see if they are that wide too.
