I think alot of the stats you get about nike are fairly outdated. The noughties have seen a vast improvement in their production practices in general....well thats the official line anyway, guess you'd have to get down to the factory to see whats really going on. Got a few nikes kicking around from when i had a soft spot for footwear. I think unless your rocking home grown hemp sandals its hard to totally avoid unethical practices.
just do it!
