I've been running a Soma track hub with a Soma lockring and one of those two-piece Miche sprockets sandwiched in the middle for about a week now. When sticking it all together, I noticed that the lockring seems too wide and hangs over the edge of the hub threads, even when fully wellied into place.
Didn't think it would be a problem. Then, cycling down City Rd from Angel towards Old St last night I locked up to take some wind from my sails only to feel that dreaded slip.
The sprockets seem the same size as some of my other one-pieces at home, which leads me to assume it's either the lockring or the hub itself. Anyone experience or know anything about this? Or is it just me being a muppet?
So, I might just be being an idjit, but...
