I second that dogsballs -it saves money for the essential tools - Hammer, adjustable spanner, chisel.. ;-) 3 wheels so far..
I used an old pair of forks that were fuked and spread the fork legs to 120mm. zip ties cut off to guide the eyes, and flip the wheel to check even dish.
On a more relevant note I think a folding truing stand would be a good idea if it wont see regular use.
