Bought this from Wayne a few weeks ago and am currently finding parts etc.
Need to strip and repaint as there are a few patches of rust around the bb and fork where the paint is flaking. (Good underneath)
Only thing I was worried about is devaluing if that's possible. I can get repro decals but they will be vinyl, not proper transfers like they are currently.
Obviously preserving the frame is important, but how bad is it to destroy the original decals?
Oh and it's his funeral tomorrow.
