  • Those of you that have a radially laced front....

    I just bought some secondhand wheels and the front is laced radially. I wouldn't choose to do this but it does admittedly look nice.

    ...but, on an aero rim (campag) where the spoke nipples are directional for cross lacing, the spoke from the left side of the hub (looking from the handlebars) goes to the right-directioned nipple causing a bend.

    Would this be weaker or is the bend beneficial at spreading the load?

    Any info would be great.
