Its a pretty short ride from Epping itself if you get the train/bus out there. Or if you're in Hackney/Leyton its about an hour each way by bike (prob a bit longer if you don't know the route). Nice ride, pretty easy and with a nice mellow jumble on the end of it.
Generally a few gems down there.
