Does anyone know what the deal is with registering for this event. On the site (which is pretty rubbish) it says that registrations are closed because they* "want to ensure that riders have an enjoyable, safe day of cycling, and that did mean putting a limit on the numbers that could register"*.
I've invited quite a few friends down and none of us have registered. Are they going to stop us entering the designated area? Should we not bother?
