Oversized handlebars

Yeah, I know. I quite like the roadrat though because it's quite versatile in terms of mudguards, racks and so on. At the time when I bought it as well I wasn't sure if I'd like ss/fixed, so wanted the option of going geared if need be. I probably would if I had the money to do so, but I'll probably just run the roadrat into the ground over uni.

edmundane apart from v-brakes would it take canti's? if the frame does you're sorted.

i looked into that, and the pivots will take them but there's no where for me to put a hanger on for the cable, on the front. No headset spacers, you see.

BringMeMyFix Actually, there's contradictory text about compatibility for the above, but I think Paul's crosstop levers have a pin that can be adjusted for use with Vs, and they come in a 31.8

oh yes! :D You might have just found me exactly what I wanted! :D

I just need to order some bars now, so I can work out the position I want the lever in and if it ends up being on the 31.8mm bit, near the stem, or the other, thinner, bit.

Edit: Hmmmm that motolite brake looks a lot nicer than other v-brakes available, especially in black. Might have to get one of them as well...
