Glad it wasn't worse.
It's always worth reporting possible spills of whatever slippery substance it may have been to the council.

Slid out and spilled for the first time in years today. Near finsbury park. Saw there was some kind of wet surface ahead and slowed down but clearly not enough because both tyres lost traction in spite of being fixed and down I went.
Thankfully I was slowed right the way down and had long gloves on so only had hurt feelings. I think there might have been something in the spill tbh
