    I'm wondering how you broke the tip of the shuker. The material of the blade is usually quite thick. Though my experience of oyster shuckers are on the knife porn thread.

    They are the highest quality knives purchased or shoplifted from the boutique french hypermarkets.

    Careful with the screwdriver as people do get injured.

    It was a £5 job from ProCook so I will very happily blame the tool, and treat myself to an artisan replacement

    Fiver, that is posh ;) I would have thought it would bend before snapping. Has someone been using it as a screwdriver?

    Remember only eat oysters when there is an r in the month. In the northern hemisphere.

    Oh and I love an oyster, raw with a squeeze of lemon or lime.
