When I visited Minute Cryptic yesterday I was offered the chance to sign up for the subscription. $9 (usd I think) a month or $90/year. There were 250 places available at that point , and if you signed up you'd get a code so that your mates could join too.
That's too much for me when there are loads of free cryptics out there.
The offer wasn't there when I visited today. I must have just happened to find the right moment.
