Thanks all. Next and related question. I’ve only got 29mm of usable steerer with this frame, fork and headset combination. How much can I claw back by changing the headset from the CK nothreadset in there currently? I’ve got a Hope in the parts bin that’s got a bit less stack height but maybe still not enough to get a stem on. What’s the lowest stack external 1 1/8” headset option out there? And what are the low-stack stem options after that?
FSA NS Drop, Syntace Flatforce, and some Aliex stuff that looks like the above. The Aliex ones are available in angles with less drop, if you're not looking to get the bars super low.
