I've got wax in a Crockpot thats been used pretty regularly for a few years. Is it worth trying to filter out the crap that's no doubt sitting in the bottom? Recycle it? I've got another sous vide bag of silca I was going to either add to it but maybe I should replace the old stuff with it?
Hoping the advice is just to bung it in with existing wax and crack on - I'm not seeking marginal gains
