Youβre totally right. Sadly because of cultural idiocy, people donβt understand 3 stars or 5/10 = average (or just donβt know what averages are, everything is messed up. See all reviews sites, where 90% of all content sits between 6.9 - 8.1 out of ten.

Star ratings, /10 ratings are a bit outdated imo, because the scale means different things to different people. Like about, 5/10 is neutral really, you can't get more middle ground, but most people would say that's bad.
Enter the 'would you recommended this business'. A nice simple yes or no. If you liked it yes. If you didn't, no. Easy, no room for error and not misleading to whomever is reading the reviews.
