One of the best thing about the latest cables is that it's like setting up the older Di2; you just adjusted the upper and lower limiter which does not rely on the cables tension at all (after you set it up when lining up the white line on the left side).
Old derailleur mean the tension have to be just right to shift and trim it.

Talking of trim, I'm not getting much movement from the trim, tension too high?
It'll make a slight audible difference when it's rubbing but literaly can't see it move.
Did wonder if I'd be better just going 1x but think that'd require a new rear derailleur as the current Ultegra RX can't go with a cassette above 34t.
GRX mech will work with 105 shifter right?

Yeah I didn’t use the 2mm grub because it wasn’t really working in both directions, just did it with the inline adjuster the bike has in the gear cables.
Maybe I’ll still upgrade it to an Ultegra one just to be fancy.
