"LCC's report featured case study routes, including one which passes next to Millwall Stadium alongside an isolated railway line where muggings and bike-jackings have been reported; and a "crime-ridden and isolated" underpass in Enfield." That bike path is indeed a hellhole - but sometimes I despair that not very much can be done about that situation save for increasing ped traffic on it or constant police presence? Shame because it's pretty much the only sensible way to get between SQ/CW and the New Cross/Peckham area.
